CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members.

CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient.

MISSION :

CMA CGM's Fleet Upgrade department is responsible for upgrading and maintaining the group's fleet of vessels. Your mission will be to support the department in the project management of the dry-docking of new vessels.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Mission n°1 :

Since the delivery of the first LNG ships 3 years ago, the CMA CGM JACQUES SAADE will be the first to go into dry dock in February 2025. Preparations have already begun since 2023, with the support of LNG experts, the Fleet Superintendent and the ships, but this work needs to be continued.

It is therefore proposed to continue these preparations by:

1. Consolidating the technical specification

2. Consolidating the inerting process

3. Organize required pre-inspections

4. Track spare parts and services

Mission n°2:

Preparing the technical specification for deck maintenance and repairs during a shipyard shutdown is not an easy task. To obtain an accurate specification, prior inspections with access to the deck must be carried out. This is difficult because cargo handling prevents easy inspections.

The aim of this assignment is to define the processes, pre-inspections, planning and resources needed to effectively prepare dry docks.

Mission n°3 :

With an average of 100 technical stoppages per year for almost 10 years, a great deal of data has been compiled, but needs to be analyzed.

The aim is therefore to collect as much data as possible from past projects and to propose a categorization and strategy for future vessels based on the nature of the work.

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently a Master 2 student at an engineering school, you have ideally completed an internship in a similar role.

You are proactive, organized, and able to work independently and with several teams.

You have a strong team spirit and continuous improvement is part of your vision.

Strong analytical skills in data analysis and problem solving.

You have excellent oral and written skills, enabling you to communicate with all types of people.

Working language is English, French is a plus.

Come along on CMA CGM's adventure

Localisation :

Marseille (13000)
