The Role

The PMO of our Chief Procurement Officer at CMA CGM is a fantastic opportunity to get exposure to international and challenging projects across the company. CMA CGM is growing internationally at a very rapid pace, and we are heavily invested in digitalization and innovation leading to exciting new projects. The role involves being highly organized and adaptable to handle and support the
Chief procurement officer
throughout his day to day to achieve the group ambitious goals. You'll need to be ready to wear many hats and get involved on a wide variety of strategic and Group projects. The role is a great steppingstone within the firm for ambitious individuals who want to grow further in an international company!

Responsibilities

- You'll support the CPO to build and roll-out the fundations of a top-notch companywide procurement function and raise procurement culture among all decision makers

- You'll organize and gather information from various departments and meetings and ensure an accurate and clear reporting, along with recommendations when needed

- Participates in strategic initiatives by leading them and reporting results back

- You'll organize a calendar and keep track of multiple projects at the same time

- You'll keep up with industry trends to be able to navigate and understand various conversations with ease

- Deploy best practices, new tools or approaches within the department whenever relevant

- Execute the business vision operationally

- Curates internal and external meetings materials

Profile and competencies

- Top academics or experience in consulting firm is a must have

- Minimum of 8 years' experience within an international and challenging environment

- International mindset and exposure

- A real problem solver and troubleshooter

- Extremely organized and autonomous. Synthesis capability and data analysis

- An excellent communicator with the ability to work at all levels of the organization

- Highly adaptable and flexible through shifting priorities

- Ability to travel

- English and French must be impeccable

- Willing to learn and grow within the firm
