M/Y Saint Nicolas
|
I had the fantastic privilege to serve on board M/Y Saint Nicolas for two seasons, with
winter in Mallorca and Barcelona. I enhanced my engineering knowledge on a pristine mega
yacht, with great crew and captain. I had the opportunity to be involved everywhere on
board, and had to manage all systems in partnership with the C/E and ETO. In addition,
due to my dual license, I was in charge of navigational watch on the bridge during
passages instead of our captain, who also gave me occasionally the controls during
docking maneuvers.
Unfortunately, I had to leave Saint Nicolas in order to complete my officer training.

I joined M/Y Lynx who offered my first job in yachting. I was in charge of engineering
and had to manage activities aboard when the captain was off during the winter. We
closely collaborated and maintained Lynx at very high standard even if she was not a very
busy yacht during summer season. That's the main reason I left, in order to experiment
more and learn quicker on new systems and equipment.

AUTOMOTIVE AND AEROSPACE INDUSTRIES
|
2009 Starting off in the automotive industry, I was involved in projects around the propulsion
function: engines, gearboxes, fuel systems.
I switched from Automotive to Aerospace industry because of my special interest in
airplanes and advanced technologies. I especially worked on fuel and hydraulic equipment
(gas turbines and flight controls) and interior equipment for airplanes and helicopters.
As Technical architect or designer, I had to manage various department resources and
services involved in my projects. During this time, I acquired a large technical culture
(theoretical and practical), a great sense of details and accuracy, in addition of
mandatory communication and management skills.
