As a Marine Superintendent, I lead the safety team and support the operations
and technical department which covers all operational, safety, security,
environmental and maintenance of ships.
I prepare vessels and coach crew for any type of inspections (Port State, Flag
State, SIRE, OVID, Major Safety Inspections…), take care of follow-up of
observations and comments after inspections and maintain fleet safety KPI to
match client’s expectations.
Accountable for Flag State compliance, I maintain strong relationship between
flag states and ship management services to ensure the full compliance of the
fleet with all applicable rules & regulations (flag state, IMO, OCIMF…) and
permanent availability of the fleet to the satisfaction of clients, operators and
charterers.
