Responsible for the management of the files related to the preventive and corrective maintenance of the
combat systems of all the Saudi western fleet (French and American built ships) based in Jeddah. Entering
all the information concerning the work requisitions from the ships, comment on reasons for the failure, and
report on the actions taken. Management of the spare parts requisition, stock check on Compass data
base, repaired classification check, price check. Writing and follow up of the high cost justification letter if
necessary. Writing and follow up of the "returns file" in case of a repairable item. Registering in the Access
data base, reception, check and dispatching of the spare parts. Build up, classification and filing of paper
file for each action. Planning and preparation of all preventive maintenance operations.
Substitute for the Combat system Coordinator and in this position, in addition to my own activities,
responsible of 60 expatriate and local technicians, French, American, Pakistan, Philippines and Saudi.
Direct interface between the Saudi customer and Thales Naval France. Active participation in all meetings
in English.
Technical adviser of the Saudi Naval Base Commodore. Responsible for all the parts of combat systems.

understanding of the drawings, solving of technical problems. Reporting and updating to the project
manager. Commissioning.
Head of a 50 strong technicians team. Management of subcontractors. Training of the technicians.

During 45 days at sea, responsible of all the electricity on board, then in Tunisia, responsible for
modernization and updating in the electrical field. Management and training of Tunisian technicians.
All works performed under « Bureau Veritas »checks.
