First Class Marine Engineer certificate. A minimum of 5 years experience as a Technical Marine Manager or Superintendent. In addition to your technical proficiency, you have strong analytical and project management skills. Organization and leadership to coordinate the various key holders. Excellent oral and written communications skills are essential. Willingness to go for travels ranging from 1-5 weeks. JOB SUMMARY In the Marine Department you will be responsible for acting as the single focal point for a Ship Managers and for a shipyard providing Management Services for a number of vessels. You will supervise the rigging phase of OBC and SW crews by coordinating actions between shipyard/ship managers and seismic technical departments. Eventually you must check that the maintenance programs are applied and followed through the fleet. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and liaises with the Shipyard and promotes a professional business relationship. Coordinates Vessel setup with the Seismic Operations Group and communicate same to Shipyard and Ship Manager. Ensures that all certifications are in force and HSE rules applied. Liaises with the Ship Manager and prepare a yearly vessel budget and monitor expenditure. Reviews of the Planned Maintenance System and Shipyard Specifications. Attends Technical or dry-docking stops. Tracks Vessel Major Machinery Running Hours and Project Timely Technical Stops or at sea interventions.
