Job Objectives Responsible for positioning the seismic vessel. Collect and check navigation data. Main Activities * Install, configure and monitor the navigation instrumentation on board our seismic vessels or on a barge. * Detect any anomalies and carry out repairs and ensure the replacement of all defective equipment. * Perform the vessel positioning. Ensure the positioning measurements, quality control and recording of all navigation data during preliminary work and during seismic acquisition. * Ensure compliance with HSE procedures on board the vessel.
Descriptif de poste :* Degree in Electronics + experience in hardware maintenance * Professional experience in positioning systems (DGPS, echo sounders, acoustics systems, radio). * Good computer skills required. Knowledge of Linux and Networks would be appreciated. * Seismic experience in Shallow Water/OBC crews or any offshore experience would be appreciated. Knowledge of GATOR software would be an advantage. * Excellent communication skills with proven leadership capabilities. Ability to work abroad in an international environment and sometimes in challenging field conditions. Ability to work as a team player with a spirit of initiative
