- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Materials Management, Business Administration, or related field. -Three to five years experience in inventory, materials, or logistics management. - Previous food and beverage management experience in a large hotel, resort, casino, cruise ship preferred. - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) Experience in cruise or hospitality related industry highly preferred. - Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly and distinctly. - All international applicants must have the ability to obtain a C1/D1 Visa. - Applicants must be able to accommodate a 4 months on / 2 months off contract schedule. - Ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training. - Courteous interactions with guests and fellow shipboard employees, while in crew areas at all times, and in presence of guests. - Directing the overall Inventory function aboard the vessel as related Hotel Operations. - Manages staffing par levels to support the business needs of the vessel. - Reviews and approves overtime sheets and reviews requests. - Observes and evaluates employees. - Mentors, develops and provides on-the-job training to subordinates to strengthen current performance and to prepare for advancement. - Fosters a team environment among the crew. - Establishes a Materials Requirement Planning process that drives the requisitioning of materials for all hotel-related functions including food and beverage, hotel consumables, and disposable items. - Remains up to date on USPH procedures for sanitation and cleanliness. - Conducts regular inspections/audits, cycle counts and inventories. - Publishes related performance metrics. - Arranges supply deliveries. - Creates, managements and controls budget. - Continuously identifies improvement opportunities.
